    Title:  Firefighter TEAM Photographer

    Description:

    The IFRM is one of the Fastest Growing Firefighter Charity companies; we have a fantastic opportunity for photographers passionate about Fire related photography to join our team. 

    The International Fire Relief Mission exists to provide long-term and life saving assistance for active duty firefighters in countries and communities lacking modern fire/rescue equipment and technology. Our objectives are accomplished by recycling fire equipment replaced by the AFG or FEMA grants. An ongoing impact to firefighters is improved technology and equipment with a (5-10 year) sustainable service life.

    As a contract photographer for IFRM, you will be responsible for photographing all TEAM mission activities. Spring, fall and winter are our busy times. Working directly with Fire magazines will be an integral part of our photographer team Goals. 

    This opportunity is perfect for photographers who are wishing to gain extensive hands-on-experience or for freelance Firefighter photographers that are looking to compliment an existing portfolio of clients. 

    To be considered for the position you should:
    be available to travel for extended periods of time (up to 30 days) Globally
    be prepared to work an average of 10 hours a day 
    own a Nikon D300 with 12-24mm lens and 18-200mm lens or above* OR Canon 5D with 16-36mm   lens and 28 -200mm lens and remote control or above*
    Greater than 10.0 Mega Pixels and must shoot NEF or RAW
    SB800 Flash for Nikon with diffuser, or Canon Speedlite 430EX or 580EXll 
    own a laptop (Mac or Windows OS)
    own a cell phone with an international plan
    have a valid passport with no travel restrictions

    have a valid credit card with a minimum of 2K available to cover project expenses
    sign a non-compete agreement 
    have a pleasant, outgoing personality 
    be an effective communicator
    have a passion for Fire ground photography
    be able to make a commitment to the position for a minimum of 12 months
    have liability insurance
