    • July 2010 has started out fantastic. We have been observed by Charity watch groups like Guidestar and GreatNonprofits. They both have listed our company and services. I would invite you  to visit them and record you review or comments Thanks. Also during the first part of July several FD's in the Northeastern US have been contacting the IFRM with donations. We have a huge collections challenge and would ask for help from anyone including ideas. We are still looking for shipment donation to help us with Romanian Gear. On July 23rd the IFRM is on display within one of our key sponsors GEARGRID booth at the Firehouse Expo-Baltimore. WE look forward to meeting everyone at this show. Follow up to the show, Thanks to everyone who made time to visit with us, it was Great, and we look forward to working with all of you in the near future. New contacts have begun with Nadanu and HAIX, look for more information about them soon. We also this month put out a RFP to mobile storage companies looking for assistance in onsite collection of equipment and assistance getting items back to our warehouse this would help all of us alot. IF you know of a company that didnt receive a RFP please email me..

    • Mid year report:                                       Some facts about the IFRM:

In the first six months of 2010 the IFRM’s website was viewed by over #792-cities from #52-States reporting in. These visits are first by Firefighters and Departments looking to make donation. This was followed closely by key Sponsors and interested Supporters. And finally from people within the US, asking for assistance or offering to assist in certain locations around the world.  The top Ten States in order of ranking: Minnesota, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, California, and Nebraska followed closely by: District of Columbia, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Tennessee and Michigan.  These states also follow the equipment donations we have received….

The IFRM has donation requests from #17- Sub Continent Regions. They are in order by most activity: South America, Central America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Northern Europe, Caribbean, Southern Europe, Western Asia, South-Eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Eastern Asia, Southern Asia, Western Africa, Melanesia, North and South Africa.  The Top countries are:  Chile, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Romania, Mexico, Ukraine, Germany, Paraguay, Georgia, Czech Republic, and Argentina.

By the end of 2010 we will have provide assistance to Moldova, Ukraine, Papua New Guinea, Bolivia, Honduras, Chile, Georgia and the Dominican Republic.  We have pending service to Romania. We have a need of a shipping donation to that country. We are always looking fill the greatest need based upon the information that is provided.

2010 was the first year that the IFRM participated in donations following an Earthquake.  And we are proud to announce that we had a great deal of support on this Earthquake Relief effort for Chile: key sponsors: Rosenbauer, GearGrid, TFT Task Force Tips,  New supporters for this mission include Globe Firefighters Suits, PRO POLY, All Safe. An emergency collection vehicle has been donated by U-Haul.

We are already planning well into 2011, 2012. We are always looking for Fire/EMS staff to assist on missions. Thank you to everyone for the support and assistance together we are making a difference.

    • June 2010 is a very busy time for us. We are looking for a freight forwarded to help get donations into Romania. all of the gear is collected and processed but we need help getting it there. If we cant find a shipper we need $5,000.00 in cash donations to help with this mission. You can make this happen by clicking the donation button and help "firefighters around the World".
    • During May 2010 the IFRM support continues to grow in the Eastern US and we are happy to see departments offering to serve as collection centers for the IFRM. One of the Dept. is West Ossipee Fire Department, NH - Mellisa Ferland she also has expressed and interest in traveling with the IFRM and assist with photography needs. We also have brought on Tim Jepsen and the Ralston FD, NE This is exciting in that we have had no central US collection center.
    • April 2010 we finished to collections and shipped the Equipment to Chile. Staff of the IFRM were on display at the 2010-FDIC and also received donations during the show again.
    • In March 2010 the IFRM was asked to assist the Chile Firefighters following a recent earthquake. Many Fire departments in the US and Canada called to donate Gear. And some New relationship began. First with Globe fire suits. Then also U-Haul truck rentals donated a collection vehicle.
    • Feb 5th 2010 Staff from IFRM depart for a mission to Roatan Island following donation and shipment earlier in the summer of 2009. Also this month Brian Hoehl of www.bradybooks.com has offered a PowerPoint and other printed materials for us to use with agencies we serve.
